Cheer Uniform Sizing and Registration Payment:

Monday, July 12th 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the 41/42 Building. Please bring

FULL payment ($100) and

Your cheerleader to pick out their cheer uniform and warm up size needs.

If you cannot attend this date/time a make-up date will be determined and communicated to families that do not show up this date/time.

(The 41/42 Building within Birch Run Schools is the Early College Building located on Church Street)

Other important information:

Cheer practices will begin on Tuesday, August 10th, 6:00 pm, at the Birch Run Park Pavilion.

  • The first week practice will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 – 7:30 pm. The following weeks practices will be Tuesdays and Thursday from 6 – 7:30 pm.

  • All cheerleaders must have a current sports physical to participate – you MUST bring a copy of the physical the 1st night of practice or at registration. The physical must have been completed after April 1, 2021.

  • Cheerleaders practice attire should be dressed for the weather and include shirts and shorts/pants and tennis shoes.

  • BRYS will provide each cheerleader with a cheer uniform and cheer warm-up for games. Parents are responsible for:

  • Black spandex shorts/undergear or black leggings for cheer skirts

  • White Tennis Shoes & White Socks

  • Please join the Facebook “BR Youth Cheer” group to receive parent communications. If you are not on facebook Remind may also be used.

  • Football schedules will be released in August and will be provided to parents. Cheerleaders are to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the football games. Games last approximately 1.5 hours. All games will be played on Saturdays beginning 9/11 – 10/23.

  • For families with siblings in both BRYS football and cheer, we can accommodate the cheerleader to cheer for their siblings’ team. For example, if your cheerleader is 3rd grade and the older sibling is on 6th grade football. The cheerleader can cheer for the 6th grade team.
